rtmp vs. screenshare quality
almost 3 years ago by Thomas Schwarz
Hi,
I want to stream a theater play and was wondering if there is a video-/audio quality or stability benefit choosing rtmp over screenshare? There are moments in the play, where the attendees can interact through polls and etherpads with the live audience and performers. Right now, we are using rtmp and there is a noticable delay of some seconds, but if there are quality benefits with rtmp, I would rather work around the liveness and choose video quality and the safety of a video buffer over liveness/less delay with screenshare.
I am also curious what happens with either method when bandwith is scarce on the attendees side.
