The First Encounter: “How Hard Can It Be?”

Like many casual games, Eggy Car lured me in with its simple concept. No complicated menus, no elaborate tutorials. Just a bright little car, an egg perched on top, and a rolling landscape. The mission? Drive as far as you can without letting the egg crack.
My first thought: “This looks easy. I’ve played plenty of platform and racing games before.”
Spoiler alert: it wasn’t easy at all. Within seconds, I hit my first uphill slope, tilted the car too far back, and watched in slow motion as the egg flew off the roof like it was launching into outer space. The dramatic crash sound effect sealed it: I was hooked.
