I’ve had to deal with those hotel-style TVs that don’t allow installing anything, and the only thing that worked reliably was using an app that handles everything from the phone itself. You just need the TV to be on the same Wi-Fi, nothing more. This Cast photos from iPhone to TV is the one I’ve been using. It doesn’t need any TV app or login, and it mirrors whatever’s on your phone instantly. It’s been a lifesaver when the TV’s built-in features are limited or outdated.
