My brick chimney looked terrible, but restoration made it look new again – anyone else tackled a project like this?

I have an old brick chimney that was crumbling and covered in moss. I wasn’t sure if it needed to be completely rebuilt, but I found a local company that specialized in brick restoration. They repaired the mortar and cleaned the bricks, and now it looks solid and clean without having to replace everything. It was a huge relief.
Has anyone else here gone through a brick restoration? How did it turn out, and how did you find the right person for the job? I’m curious about other people’s experiences.
