Locked

In some rooms, it can become difficult to select elements that are covering each other. This is especially true if you are using Mix Blend Mode overlay videos/images:

In the above example, there is a smoke video with 'Screen' Mix Blend Mode preventing all the elements below it from being selected by the mouse. To work around this, you can enable the Locked setting under the ELEMENT category:

Now you will be able to click through the video element. If you want to select it for editing, you can still click on the lock icon in the top right corner:

You can unlock the element by unchecking the Locked setting.

You also unlock it via the Layers Panel. There will be a small lock icon next to the name of the element in the Layers Panel you can click to lock/unlock the element.
