Screenshare

A slot that hosts screenshares instead of video feeds and is more flexible and customizable than automatic screensharing. You can treat them much the same as User Slot's for editing, layouts and actions.

How do I add a screenshare element?

You can add text elements to your room by clicking the icon in the toolbar. This will place a blank screenshare box in the center of the room.

You can move, resize, deform and rotate this element however you like using the blue boxes.

How do I make sure only certain users can screenshare?

While you can control whether users can screenshare at both the Workspace and Room level using your properties for both, you can also limit screenshare elements in the same way you can User Slots. Using Tags, you can set the Auto-Join Tag Filter, or change the Join mode of the screenshare element using the Advanced Properties panel.

How do I start screensharing?

To begin a screenshare, click on the icon at the top of the canvas next to the . You'll be asked to share your window, whole screen, or a specific tab.

If you want additional control over your screenshare, select the icon to make selections.
