By default, anyone can access your space if: (1) they are logged into ohyay and (2) they have a link to your space.

There are several ways to secure your ohyay workspace. Follow these steps to access the Security section of your workspace settings:

  • Click on “Workspace” at the top of the screen.
  • Select “Settings.”
  • Search for “Security” at the top of the panel on the right hand side of the screen.

To set a password for your space:

  1. Click on “Workspace” at the top of the screen.
  2. Select “Settings.”
  3. Click on “All Users” next to “Authorization” in the Security section of the Workspace Settings to pull up a dropdown menu.
  4. Select “Password.”
  5. Click on the pen icon next to “Password.”
  6. Enter the password for your event.
  7. Click “Save.”

Useful when: Guests are coming in with different email addresses (which makes SSO restriction difficult).

Keep in mind: After you click “Save,” anyone (without admin access) who enters the space will have to use the password. You may have to remind people of the password before your event start time.
